HeNN's Earthquake Relief Effort Update (May 8, 2015)

Dear Help Nepal Network members and supporters worldwide,

We have raised approximately US $335,000 in HNN's Earthquake Relief Fund as of now. Additional funds are continuing to come in.

Here is the Activity Report for May 4th, 5th and 6th. Our team deployed the following relief materials:

May 4th, 2015:

1.      Majhi Gaun-3, Sindhupalchowk. Food and plastic tents. In partnership with Nepal Red Cross Society.       

2.      Kalleri, Hariya-8, Dhading. Plastic tents, sanitary supplies, medication. In partnership with Sedhain Kalyankari Trust.

3.      Badegaun, Melamchi. Plastic tents and sanitary supplies. In partnership with Mumbai C.A. Group.

4.      Susmachyamawati-6, Dolakha. Plastic tents. In partnership with UARC Tahachal.

5.      Sundarijal, Kathmandu. Medication and sanitary supplies.

6.      Jyamdi, Kavre. Food and sanitary supplies. In partnership with Deurali Sports Club.

7.      Sampat, Kavre. Plastic tents. In partnership with Civil Hospital.

8.      Tarukharka, Dhading. Tents. In partnership with Rural Environment Improvement Committee.

9.      Khalte, Dhading. Tents. Supported by Nepalese group from Dubai.

10.   Kalyanpur-1, Harkapur, Nuwakot. Sanitary supplies. In partnership with Aama Samuha.

11.   Kavre-4, Kavre. Food, medication and sanitary supplies.

May 5th, 2015:

1.      Lapilong, Dolakha. Medication. In conjunction with health awareness initiative by Medical Students (H-AIMS).

2.      Tarukharka, Ward no. 6&7, Dhading. Medication. In partnership with Rural Environment Improvement Committee.

3.      Mahakali-1, Nuwakot. Food and plastic tents. In partnership with Mahakali Community Study Center.

4.      Bhotsipa, Sindhupalchowk. Medication and sanitary supplies. In partnership with Budhichaur Area Development Society.

5.      Viewtower, Sindhupalchowk. Medication.

6.      Sundarijal, Kathmandu. Medication and sanitary supplies.

7.      Suchyamawati-2, Dolakha. Medication and sanitary supplies. In partnership with Urban Youth for Rural Children (UARC).

8.      Bansbari, Sindhupalchowk. Medication. In partnership with Melamchi Nagarpalika.

9.      Okharpauwa, Okhaldhunga. Medication. In partnership with Natural Cultural and Educational Foundation.

10.   Dhuskun, Sindhupalchowk. Medication.

11.   Pakhribas, Ramechhap. Medication. In partnership with Youth Action Nepal.

12.   Baruwa, Sindhupalchowk. Tents and medication. In partnership with Baruwa Youth Club.

13.   Dhumbarahi-3, Nuwakot. Food. In partnership with Rara Sanyukta Upabhokta Samaj.

14.   Katunjey-1,3,5, Dhading. Food.

15.   Talakhu, Nuwakot. Medication. In partnership with Aama Samuha.

16.   Thumpakhar, Sindhupalchowk. Medication and sanitary supplies.

May 6th, 2015:

1.      Baguwa, Lamachaur, Ward no. 7, Gorkha. Plastic tents, clothes, medication and sanitary supplies. In partnership with Bika Samudaya, Lamachaur.

2.      Paanchmane, Jeetpurfedi, Kathmandu. Medication.

3.      Khadka Bhyanjang, Trishuli, Nuwakot. Plastics tents.

4.      Thulopakhar, Sindhupalchowk. Plastic tents, clothes, medication and sanitary supplies. In partnership with Youth Space Foundation.

5.      Aalapot, Ward no. 5, 6, 7, 8, Kathmandu. Clothes, medication and sanitary supplies.

6.      Melamchi, Taramarang, Ward no. 1 & 2, Sindhupalchowk. Plactic tents and medication. In partnership with Employment Skill Development, Training & Business Incubation Program.

7.      Tinghare, Ward no. 8 & 9, Kavre. Medication and sanitary supplies. In partnership with Kathmandu Matribhumi LEO Club.

8.      Sundarijal, Gurung & Magar Gaon, Kathmandu. Medication and sanitary supplies.

9.      Kunani Paani, Kavre. Medication. In partnership with Earthquake Victim Relief Organization.

10.   Bimira, Nawalpur-4, Sindhupalchowk. Medication.

11.   Tarkughat, Ward no.  4, Lamjung. Medication and sanitary supplies. In partnership with Subhaprabhat Youth Club.

12.   Manthali, Majhi Gaon, Ramechhap. Food, medication and sanitary supplies. In partnership with School of Management Tribhuwan University.

13.   Manekhara, Ward no. 6, Sindhupalchowk. Medication. In partnership with Kumudini Social Service.

14.   Lele, Lalitpur. Medication. In partnership with Children's Hospital for Eye.

15.   Barabise, Sindhupalchowk. Medication. In partnership with Sano Paila.

16.   Fataksila, Sindhupalchowk. Plastic tents. In partnership with Kasturi Shade Foundation.

17.   Sikre, Ward no. 9, Sindhupalchowk. Plastic tents. In partnership with Kathmandu Jaycees.
