Shreedhar Basnyat
Shreedhar used to work in Nepal Airlines before he came to New Zealand. He is currently doing research in social practice and strongly believes in giving back to the society. He presets Nepali programme in the New Zealand based community radio, www.planetaudio.org.nz. It’s important for Shreedhar that communities interact and communicate to make societies more positive and productive. A fan of Nepali music, Shreedhar is also keen on soccer, badminton and tennis.

Raj Maharjan
Raj is active in New Zealand Nepalese Association and Hamro Chautari, the only Nepali radio program in NZ. He lives in Auckland with his wife and daughter. He did his MS in Natural Resource Management and Town Planning and currently works for Auckland Council as a Policy Planner. He is a keen rock climber, long-distance runner and landscape photographer. He feels that every Nepali should do something for Nepal.

Ashok Kumar Shrestha
Ashok actively works, coordinates and contributes for the community and believes that a small donation we make works a lot for the people living in rural Nepal. Currenty, he is working in Waitaki Dairy Farm Ltd. Ikawai, Waimate. He has been living in New Zealand with his wife and two children since 2001.
Madan Gautam
Born in the remote part of Dhading district. He holds MSc (UK) and PhD (NZ) degreees on Natural Resource conservation and Terrestrial Ecology. Over 8 years of service in Nepal (Community Forestry), 18 months lecturer job in UK (Reading University), and 2 years work as a Research Fellow in Canberra (Australian National University). Currently working with the Department of Conservation, New Zealand.
